Work Health & Safety, Australian Standards & The National Construction Code require all fire safety equipment to undergo routine service, testing and preventative maintenance.

Australian Standards AS1851 (2012) outline the requirements for Inspection, Service and Maintenance, for all systems described in the council registered fire safety schedule. Compliance with Australian Standards ensures your building meets its duty of care in fire protection. Our maintenance and repairs services are designed to minimise disruption and costs for you building, while maximising reliability and performance of your safety systems.

St Florian's offers functional tests, inspections, repairs and maintenance of all your fire protection systems to ensure they are ready and operational when called upon. These services can benchmark the performance of your assets and allow us to issue Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) if required.

Fire safety equipment differs in how frequent it requires a routine service (Table 1.11A; AS1851). For more information, or a personalise quote, please enquire below.

FIRE SYSTEM INSPECT & TEST
Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation (2000) requires building owners to "maintain each essential fire safety measure in the building". Significant fines and legal consequences are issued for those who fail to comply.

Requirements for inspection and testing can be complex. Building owners and tenants may not be qualified or experienced to undertake their own safety inspections.

Code One Fire Compliance can take care of all inspection requirements and ensure your fire safety measures will operate effectively when required. We can keep track of fire safety schedule and notify you when you're due for check up.

All our inspections will be completed in accordance with Australian Standard AS1851-2012.
